Terra Virtua Releases Godzilla vs Kong NFT Collectibles by Warner Bros

Interested digital art collectors can purchase the Godzilla Vs Kong NFT collectibles from Terra Virtua through the native token called Terra Virtua Kolect.

Terra Virtua, an NFT ecosystem with mass enterprise adoption, has released a line of Godzilla vs Kong NFT collectibles created in collaboration with film production giant Warner Bros Entertainment Inc. According to news outlet Cointelegraph, NFT collectors can purchase the retro-themed Godzilla vs Kong Island posters for $75. The film is set to premiere today at different theaters and also HBO Max, thus a strategic release of the NFT collectibles.

Through its official Twitter page, Terra Virtua noted that it will release two exclusive 2DA posters. “You lucky things, considering the movie launches TOMORROW, we’ve decided to release not one but TWO exclusive 2DA posters. It really is time to pick your side,” the company wrote.

“Godzilla vs Kong had an incredible launch internationally, and we are excited to bring that energy to the block-chain,” Legendary Entertainment’s executive vice president of franchise management James Ngo said.

This marks an important time both in the film industry and the NFT industry as they collaborate to further venture the market possibilities. The NFT market has made strong waves in the recent past as the mainstream media together with retail and institutional investors flock into the industry. Facilitated by blockchain technology, the NFT market has huge room for future growth prospects due to the underlying features.

Moreover, global digital artwork is a billion-dollar industry that has been fragmented by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. A secure platform to bring together key players in the digital artwork industry will drive NFT adoption to the next level.

Previously, one of the most successful digital artists dubbed Beeple has auctioned his work in millions of dollars. Notably, Beeple recently auctioned a piece for a whopping $69 million and is said to have sold over $200 million worth of artwork in less than two months.

Other key players are joining the NFT market to monetize the huge gap that already exists. Tron Foundation founder Justin Sun recently launched the JUST NFT Fund to attract high net worth investors and high-ranking artists.

Jen Naiff, Terra’s head of marketing, credits a “total legends” executive team with extensive deal and acquisition experience for the deep catalog.

“Our CEO, Gary Bracey, is a BAFTA-nominated games industry veteran with 25+ years of experience and is credited with bringing movie IP computer games to the mainstream. Doug Dyer, while at Warner Bros, fly to Scotland to demo and get approval from J.K. Rowling on the Harry Potter videogame he developed,” she said.
