Thursday (2) started with a rise in the cryptocurrency market. After days of considerable declines, Bitcoin dawned above $50,000, up 2.57%.
According to CoinDesk, the capitalization of the world’s largest cryptocurrency jumped 6% to $49,678.59. The accumulated increase for the year is already 71%, but Bitcoin is still far from its record price of US$ 65,000.
Following the wave, Ethereum also rose 9% during the night, reaching US$3,763. Dogecoin prices also rose about 10%, reaching US$0.30.
Other cryptocurrencies such as Cardano, XRP, Stellar, Uniswap, Litecoin have also increased in the range of 5% to 10% in the last 24 hours.
Binance CEO Brings Mystery About New Partnerships and Investments
The first day of the commemorative event of Binance’s BNB cryptocurrency also brought something new.
Changpeng Zhao, founder and CEO of Binance, the global cryptocurrency exchange, said his US unit could have an initial public offering in the next three years.
However, the CEO left the information open: “Binance.US will just do what Coinbase did,” Zhao said.
Meanwhile, investors continued to invest in altcoin-based digital funds such as ether and cardan. At the moment, the BNB cryptocurrency is among the top 10 market caps.
