The investment advisory firm Fundstrat Global Advisors has published a report in which it sets its expectations for crypto in 2019. According to the report, the outlook for crypto in 2019 can turn from negative to positive.
Thomas Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat, tweeted about the report:
CRYPTO: we published our 2019 crypto outlook this am. Positive incremental developments coming. First paragraph below. pic.twitter.com/JkkBEvRmxl

We see 9 incremental improvements in the landscape that ultimately support higher prices.
Since the end of 2017, the prices on the crypto-market have continued to fall, and until recently the outlook for the coming year was quite pessimistic. However, the value of bitcoin recently increased unexpectedly. The rest of the crypto top 100 also saw green figures. The expectations of, among others, technical analysts are therefore suddenly a lot more positive.
According to Fundstrat, in addition to the positive technical analyzes, a number of other factors will have a positive influence on prices in 2019. The report describes, for example, the expectation that the value of the dollar will start to fall, which may cause investors to buy bitcoin. .
In addition, the expectation is that emerging market equities will perform better than US equities. This too could, according to Fundstrat, have a positive effect on the crypto exchange rates in 2019.
Many experts expect the influx of institutional investors to cause the new crypto-tree. According to Fundstrat, more and more institutional investors will enter the crypto-market in 2019 due to the ever-expanding offering of crypto-custody and OTC desks. Also the fact that Binance now supports credit cards could lead to more interest among investors, as it is now much easier to buy crypto on the world’s largest crypto exchange.
Thomas Lee, who earlier on Fox News said that $ 25,000 is a fair price for BTC, and Fundstrat are therefore positive about the developments this year. The report concludes:
We have described in detail the trends of factors affecting crypto in 2019, and there are more positive than negative developments … All in all, the outlook for Bitcoin should improve in the course of 2019.
