Recently, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Binance, has announced that users can now also purchase cryptocurrencies with the euro on the trading platform. In addition, it added three other fiat currencies. This appears from an announcement that Binance published last weekend.
Thanks to the collaboration with Advcash, users can now deposit euros, rubles, the Ukrainian hrvynia and the Kazakh tenge in their wallet. Depositing this fiat currency brings several benefits, says Binance:
No deposit costs: depositing EUR, RUB, UAH or KZT to Binance with your Advcash Wallet is free of deposit costs.
Fast: every purchased asset is fast in your Binance wallet.
Fiat Wallet: Binance users can now buy and sell BTC, ETH and XRP directly using their Binance wallet.
Easy access: users can deposit and withdraw with bank cards and also the Advcash Wallet.
Previously it was only possible to buy altcoins on the trading platform with the help of other cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin (BTC). However, in September Binance announced that customers can now also purchase cryptocurrency on the platform with credit and debit cards. Since then, Binance has been expanding its fiat gateways to support more fiat currencies.
Binance recently published a new wallet security solution. According to the platform’s CEO, Changpeng Zhao, the wallet protocol developed by Binance is “superior to multi-sig.”
Binance.US, the American branch of Binance, recorded the altcoin VeChain (VET) last week. The listing caused an increase of nearly 10% in the stock exchange rate when the news came out.
