John McAfee is again bullish about bitcoin (BTC). The eccentric billionaire writes on Twitter that he expects the price of bitcoin to rise to $ 1 million by the end of 2020.
The founder of the software and antivirus giant, McAfee, did such a prediction on Twitter at the end of 2017. The billionaire said he would eat his young man if he was wrong:
When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong. pic.twitter.com/WVx3E71nyD

At the end of 2017, the price of bitcoin rose to a high of almost $ 20,000. Since then, the prices have fallen considerably and the price of bitcoin falls slightly below $ 4,000. Yet McAfee continues to stand behind his earlier prediction:

McAfee repeated his prediction on February 21, and unlike other analysts, he gives a “hard” date: December 31, 2020.
The Twitter message follows after a prediction by Jesse Lund, vice president blockchain and cryptocurrencies at IBM. He said during an interview that he also expects that BTC will eventually rise to $ 1 million:
McAfee accused the media in a subsequent tweet that his words were taken too literally, even though he himself called it “hard date”. He indicates that he means that bitcoin will reach $ 1,000,000 by the end of 2020 and not exactly on December 31, 2020:

McAfee has recently appeared in the news more often. At the beginning of January, the bitcoin bull said that he would enter into a fight with the American tax authorities. At the end of the same month, the billionaire released a video telling him that he was fleeing the tax office with a boat.
Also in January John McAfee indicated that he will participate in the US presidential election of 2020, but that his intention is not to win the election.
